Production

Steel cast Co has a production capacity of 8.000 tons/year total production of castings, exporting 6.000 tons (37% of Spain's total export of castings).We specialise in manufacturing wear resistant, light alloy and heat resistant steel castings.We carry out our own heat treatment in-house: annealing, quenching in air, water, oil, polymers, induction, salts, etc. as well as tempering.We cast pieces from 0,5 kg up to 2.000 kg.

The foundry has the capability to cast part up to 1200 kgs and conduct complete service such as pattern making, molding, melting,heat treatment and machining.

Steel cast Co possesses the following melting installations:
• 2 x 2.000 kg. ABB medium frequency induction furnaces
• 2 x 3.000 kg. INDUCTOTHERM (EUROTHERM) medium frequency induction furnaces.Our moulding system consists of one automatic green sand line and one chemical or automatic moulding system.

For heat treatments we possess the following furnaces:
• 1 gas continuous treatment furnace.
• 1 vertical lifting electric furnace with a capacity of up to 4.000 kg.
• 4 gas furnaces with a capacity of up to 5.000 kg
• Installations for quenching and bath salts.
